During the month of August, Panda celebrated Panda Cares Day, bringing kids love, laughs, and orange chicken across the nation!  

To celebrate Panda Cares Day with associates and guests nationwide, Panda Express launched a national virtual fundraiser that raised over $228,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Children Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. At Panda’s Support Center, associates celebrated with the Boys & Girls Club of Ramona Gardens in Los Angeles, CA, handed out food and giveaways alongside our Panda mascot who greeted the kids with hugs and high fives. 

Panda Cares took the celebration to youth in underserved communities across the nation at more than 110 local events in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Panda Express Operators and volunteers brought the spirit of giving to the kids at the local clubs, served delicious food, and played exciting games! Many of the children were gifted exclusive Panda Express swag such as books, bucket hats, bags, and Panda school kits. Panda Cares also selected clubs throughout the country to host an “Amplified Celebration”, which included fun games, a check presentation, and extra giveaways for the kids, including VR sets for the clubs to enjoy.

Through your donations, Panda was able to deliver over 51,000 books, and more than 12,000 meals for the youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation.
