Panda Cares Celebrate 25 Years of GIVING on Panda Cares Day

To commemorate Panda Cares’ 25th anniversary, Panda partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Boys & Girls Clubs of America nationwide to bring the spirit of giving at their Panda Cares Day celebrations.
Patients and families at various Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals were treated to a Panda-filled day! With the support of our Panda Express Operators, patients and their families enjoyed delicious Panda meals, exciting giveaways, fun activities, and visits from the Panda mascot, Pei Pei. Boys & Girls Clubs members also enjoyed the Panda Cares Day festivities at their clubs. Each club received brand new sports equipment, books, and a Panda Express lunch to complete their celebration.
At Panda’s Support Center in Rosemead, CA, the Panda Cares team created an exhibit displaying the evolution of Panda Cares since 1999. Support Center associates walked through the exhibit, getting a glimpse of Panda Cares’s history and numerous awards throughout the years, and for some, reliving their favorite Panda Cares memories.
Panda celebrated 114 Panda Cares Day events, donating over 14,700 meals, 37,870 books, and 15,600 giveaways!
A special thanks to the Panda Express Operators, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for giving the youth a memorable day.
